It has been great reading about all the great things my fellow '87 classmates are doing!  In 1997 I married my bride Melissa in NJ and also started a payroll processing business in the Boston area.  Neil Hatem was our first client!  We have not ventured very far!  We live in Needham and have been blessed with 3 wonderful daughters (stop laughing)!  Emma is 6 years old and Abby and Hannah are 2 year old twins!  That was quite a challenge!  I hope to get back to Boston from NJ in time for the reunion!

It's fun to read how everyone is doing after 20 years. I can't believe it's been that long. I married a NNHS grad (class of 89) going on 12 years. We have 3 fun boys, Bobby 8, Brian 6, and Brendan 3. We moved to Norhborough, after living in Marlborough for a few years. Metrowest is nothing like Newton, but we like it. My husband Gary gets to commute to Cambridge for work at Intersystems software. I was a veterinary technician for 15 yrs, and needed a change, so I'm in real estate now. I make my own hours and can still be very involved with my family life. If anyone is looking to move out this way, I can show you some great homes!!
I won't make the reunion this year, already have travel plans, but I hope we get more classmates on this site so we can stay in touch and maybe make the next reunion.

Thanks Neil and Sharra for keeping the fires burning!
I dropped out of Antioch College after my first year and started playing music full time in blues bands around Boston.  I met my permanent music partner, Paul Rishell, in '92 and we've been playing together ever since, recording 4 CDs together and touring in the States and Europe, playing Country Blues from the '20s and '30s. We also both teach guitar and harmonica to individual students and groups. We have raised a daughter (from his first marriage) who is now 20 and a junior at Wellesley, thanks in no small part to Neil's helping her survive the math SAT!
We finally got around to getting married last year and moved from Cambridge back to my old home in Newton.  Except for the constant deja vu, I've been having a good time here.  I've taught some night classes at North and I have to say I'll miss the old behemoth when it goes.
It's wonderful to hear everyone's stories and see so many beautiful families.  I'm hoping to make it to the reunion, and I hope the DJ will play some selections from '81-'86 as well - the "golden years" of '80s music!  That way we can take those tapered high-waisted jeans, day-glo sweaters, and massive shoulder pads out of storage and Safety Dance our way down memory lane!

From Susan:
Hi everyone,
I am currently living in Madison, CT – I had been in NYC since college but finally moved away in 2002 after my husband of 10 years decided to give up Wall Street for medical school(!) at Yale.  I had been home taking care of my two little girls (now 8 and 6) for a few years having previously had jobs in HR management – I didn’t want to go back to business travel and all that, and felt a calling to go to nursing school in 2003 – so off I went for a second bachelor’s…and now I am a critical care RN in the surgical/trauma ICU at Yale-New Haven Hospital which keeps the adrenaline flowing during my rotating day/night shifts. So, our life is crazy, sleep deprived and busy while Michael completes his residency in obstetrics and I try to keep up with my kids in addition to my crazy job. In case anyone is wondering, no, I haven’t been playing the piano lately, but I own one! It is currently collecting dust while daughters Jane and Julia practice for their future starring acting and singing roles in High School Musical #20. They claim playing the piano is not necessary so no lessons for now. I hope to attend the reunion and catch up with some old friends soon.

I wish I could be there for this amazing event, but I live across the country in San Diego, CA with a schedule that's too full for flying right now. Applause to Sharra & Neil for such outstanding coverage, as usual! I went to the 5 year when I came back to Boston after living in Switzerland & touring Europe as a musician for a few years. It was GREAT! I never regretted having picked NNHS after attendeding 14 other schools due to my mom's travel habits. I had my first band in school, ahem, a lot of 'firsts'! Meanwhile, life has been wild, wacky & wonderful for me. I have a great family & an inspiring (spa) business. For more (pics & story) check my page:

Thanks for putting on such a great reunion.  It was great to see so many familiar faces, and catch up with so many of you.  I can hardly believe it has been 20 years!

I live in Londonderry, New Hampshire with my wife Kelly and my two kids - Tim (10) and Caroline (7).  I met my wife during our senior year in college at UNH.  Since then I've been in the area.  I fill up my spare time watching kids sporting events (soccer, golf, lacrosse, softball), skiing with the family, and playing soccer myself.  I work at Cisco Systems in Massachusetts.
